for human services

Many of the resources on this site have been designed for small to medium sized human service organisations.

Some on-line resources we support:

Introduction to Traumatic Brain Injury - This training kit is to assist staff working with people who have had a traumatic brain injury. It includes Self-Study Modules and Presenter Modules.

Working with people with Acquired Brain InjuryThis site is for helping people to learn about working with people with acquired brain injury (ABI). At the heart of the site are two Self-Study Modules:
1. Introduction to ABI
2. Working with people with ABI

There are also lots of relevant videos and resources

Working with Indigenous Australians - An information site for board and committee members, managers, coordinators, team leaders and workers in human service organisations to support them in providing more appropriate services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Living with Attendant Care for people with brain injury and spinal cord injury This site is about what its like having attendant care and how to get attendant care right. If you are new to brain injury, spinal cord injury or attendant care it provides an orientation. To help get attendant care right there are examples of what good attendant care looks like and a description of the principles and standards it's based on.
